Ready for the movers!

Hard to believe we have been on East Liberty for 7 years. Wonderful to see the new office space at this stage - almost don't want to ruin it with furniture! Finishing work and touch ups this week and into next week.

The flooring for the bathrooms has been delayed and will not arrive until December 8 or so - we will be without flooring in the bathroom for a while. Once it arrives we will do the install over a weekend.

The antennae has landed ! !

Wednesday, November 11

The carpet is being installed! This open space area outside of the kitchen and a few offices near here are the only areas that are currently complete. Carpeting should be finished at the end of the week. I think it looks fabulous! You'll note too that the ceiling tile has all been installed.

Glass in the windows has also been installed. I'm waiting on a quote to make a decision on blinds and have those installed hopefully before we move in.

Cork flooring in the kitchen will be installed starting Monday. It has a 5 day "standing" time before they apply the wax coating.

VCT tile in the back storage room will be started on Monday as well. That requires two coats of wax after installation. I am hoping I can have the movers install the shelving units TCF left on Friday next week so we have a place to put the materials when the movers begin the following Monday.

The bathroom tile will arrive around the 20th and will be installed the week of the 23rd while we are moving in.

The motion sensors in the offices have been installed. Fun to walk in and have the lights go on automatically.

The concrete truck was here as well this morning replacing a section that had raised on one end causing a trip hazard. Nice smooth surface now!

Saturday, November 7

Stopped by the Kiwanis sale today, man were they busy!. I thought the new Salvation army might be taking some of the business away, but it certainly does not appear to be so.

Picked up a set of silverware, a knife set, and some glasses for our new kitchen. All "gently used".

Very cool! I think this assembly area for conferences and new member packets is going to work out great! The cabinet on the left is for storing boxes and flip chart paper.

The paint is finished and I think it looks great. The ceiling tile is being installed and the carpeting will begin Monday. Glass for the interior windows will be installed the rest of this week and next week. I have two proposals for window blinds for the interior windows and doors to review.

Have made a decision on movers and delivery of crates will be on Monday. I will send instructions on how to pack the crates.

Have made a decision on alarm companies as well. The three main doors will be a key card access system. Instructions and overview to come.
